The mailing industry's dependency on software is becoming more apparent with every USPS rule change. The investment in this mission-critical software is not a trivial event. In addition to an initial license fee, annual renewals are typically required to keep the software current, support the monthly or bimonthly USPS data to operate the software and, of course, access to customer support.
