The PRC issued its first ruling in the USPS requested R2006-1 rate case. The USPS Board of Governors (BOG) then issued their decision in response - allowing the PRC recommendations under protest and fixing May 14th as the new rate implementation date. The BOG returning three matters to the PRC for reconsideration. The Postal Service has now provided its statement the reconsideration process in general, and specifically with respect to the three matters returned by the Governors.
