In the coming months, Elsag will integrate in its recognition platform Parascript's easily trainable OCR automation technology to recognize addresses across the entire mail stream including letters, flats and parcels. The center will serve the entire Moscow region and its population of about 40 million, be the key mail interchange node between Russian cities, and process 3 million items a day when running at full capacity.
