PrintWeek: The Printing Industries of America (PIA) this week formally complained to the US Postal Service (USPS) about a new Direct Mail Hub on the USPS web site that seems to direct businesses to only a handful of select printers and direct marketers across the country. In an interview with PrintWeek, Makin said, "We're not in a position to speculate on what the rationale is behind this at USPS. But we just feel that as an organization that is essentially a monopoly, it should not be directing business to a select vendor list." Read more!
