The USPS has announced new mailing standards and prices for First-Class Mail International service effective May 12, 2008. The new International regs reflect 1^st Class domestic mail shape-based standards, recognizing each mailpieces shape has different processing costs. Current 1^st Class International rates do not have shape-based standards.
