DANVERS, Mass.-- RISO, Inc., a leader in digital printing technology, announced today that it has donated a fully configured "see-through" HC5500 high-speed inkjet printer along with service and supplies to the Museum of Printing in Andover, MA. Specially designed with clear "see-through" front, rear and top panels, the RISO HC5500 will serve as an educational display to the Museum's over 3,000 yearly visitors. In addition, the RISO HC5500 will be a working printer for staff to produce all of the Museum's external communications that require full color and variable data.

Founded in 1979, the Museum of Printing is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and is dedicated to preserving the history of the graphic arts, printing equipment and printing craftsmanship. In addition to its many collections and exhibits, the Museum also contains hundreds of antique printing, typesetting and bindery machines, as well as a library of books, ephemera and printing related documents. The "see-through" HC5500 display will be unveiled during a 30th anniversary event at the Museum on Friday, November 13th.
