AccuMail Command Line job workflow automation designed to save time and resources
AGOURA, Calif., May 30th, 2012 - Datatech SmartSoft, an industry-leading provider of address verification and mailing software, today introduced a new service for its AccuMail frameworks customers that gives them the power to automate their address verification and/or postal presorting workflows. The new Command Line module, called AccuMail Command, lets users set up address hygiene processes or mailing jobs once and set them to run automatically, without the need for manual intervention, using a combination of Job Scripts and Command Line Action Scripts.
Created through the AccuMail user interface, Job Scripts contain all the setup parameters needed to run different kinds of AccuMail frameworks tasks, such as List Importing, Address Correction, Move Update, and Postal Presorting. AccuMail Command lets users batch together different Job Script commands to form Action Scripts - which store the sequence of steps required to run complete jobs from start to finish - from import to presort.
Using a Command Prompt Window, these Command Line action scripts can be used to automate an addressing and mailing workflow, saving valuable time and ensuring consistency when the same types of jobs are run repeatedly.
