Xante today announced En/Press, its next-generation digital envelope press in a continuing legacy of innovative digital presses. En/Press meets the challenges of high quality, short turnaround, and low cost head on in a solution that encompasses the widest range of media sizes and substrates produced today. “En/Press raises the bar for digital press technology,” said Robert Ross, President and CEO of Xante. “It's truly a unique solution with its incredible print quality, dead-on spot color matching, simple ease of use, durability, low cost, and CTP polyester plate printing that Xante customers have come to expect. Producing a solid 4000 color #10 envelopes per hour with variable data, En/Press dominates the competition in today's dynamic marketplace,” Ross added.

High Speed and High Quality

En/Press is a four-color process digital press built around an Adobe® PostScript® controller that delivers full-color output at up to 60 letter-size pages per minute or 4000 #10 envelopes per hour with variable data. Powered by Xante's iQueue® workflow software, En/Press gives print providers incredible levels of color control. With print quality up to 4800 dpi, En/Press renders output with amazing sharpness and dead-on spot color matching.

PlateMaker 8 Technology Included

Xante innovations for print providers are legendary and the En/Press continues this legacy with PlateMaker 8 computer-to-plate technology included. Now, with En/Press, the same press that produces envelopes, NCR forms, and stationery, also delivers economical and durable polyester plates. PlateMaker 8 takes advantage of the high resolution of the En/Press to produce laser-sharp Myriad2® plates on a wide variety of sizes up to 13” x 19.38” that are ideal for one- or two-color jobs. The multi-tasking En/Press completely changes the overall profitability for providers who have been forced to rely on out-dated and obsolete single-function plate printers.

Thirteen-Inch Media Input

At 13” wide, the En/Press media input easily handles the most popular envelope and sheet sizes that a print provider will encounter. The patented Enterprise® high-speed feed system efficiently delivers envelopes up to 13” x 10” and sheets up to 13” x 49.6”. En/Press comfortably fills the wide-ranging challenges that print providers have to meet every day.

High-Capacity Enterprise Feed System

The Enterprise Feed System, widely recognized as the most efficient system for envelope printing, has been redesigned with a slimmer profile. Boasting the same expansive 1000 envelope capacity, the Enterprise now accepts media as small as 3.5” x 3.5” for an even wider range of envelope printing capability. Enterprise retains all the operational ease of use and provides the operator with the quickest method for switching from one envelope size to another. Enterprise keeps the print provider's business, whether the workload is long or short run, at optimal efficiency.
