Globalpex, the content certification company that helps businesses more effectively manage key communications content, today announced that it has selected Pitney Bowes (NYSE: PBI) to be the primary supplier of inserting systems for its recently announced physical mail service.

Globalpex is using the Pitney Bowes FPS Flexible Productivity Series Inserter as part of the new Globalpex Content Certified Physical Mail service (www.globalpex.com/ccpm.aspx), which will be used at the company's Regional Service Centers.

The Content Certified Physical Mail service is the first of its kind in the industry, offering customers an outsourced third-party document management process to confirm exactly what was sent, to whom and when. The content certification service features a proprietary, patent-pending process that utilizes a post-print image to authenticate the content of every page of every sent document, going beyond simply proving that an envelope was sent.

It is ideal for sensitive documents relating to legal, financial, healthcare, procurement and personnel transactions, for example. In addition, all documents sent via Globalpex's service are securely retained online, providing instant access should a specific communication be required in response to a legal dispute, internal audit or regulatory request.

After extensive in-house systems testing and research, Globalpex chose the FPS Series to complement its Physical Mail Service offering for its ability to precisely track and monitor customer documents for quality assurance. The system provides increased accuracy, speed and flexibility in processing and inserting physical mail communications.

"It's vital to our business to have a technology provider that can ensure that every step of our content processing is documented and executed with the highest quality," said Serge Hairanian, Globalpex chief technology officer. "The Pitney Bowes FPS system delivers the levels of precision and accuracy that we need to meet our customers' requirements."

The FPS system features a modular, interchangeable design that offers a wide range of mailing capabilities. The FPS solution chosen by Globalpex has the ability to process letters quickly, which contributes to increased productivity with a streamlined design and superior processing reliability.

"Our FPS solution is well-suited for Globalpex, where process integrity is central to delivering its innovative service," said Patrick Brand, president, Pitney Bowes Document Factory Solutions. "Pitney Bowes' comprehensive technology capabilities, integrated with Globalpex's core service of content certification, offer customers a unique outsourced option for physical document management."
