Post&Parcel--US Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe has denied that abandoning Saturday deliveries for regular mail in the United States will lead to "massive layoffs".

Addressing employees on Wednesday to clear up "mixed messages" about ongoing changes within the US postal network, Donahoe said USPS had so far avoided laying people off as it has downsized its work force, opting for voluntary early retirement and buyouts. Read more!
