From the Mailers Technical Advisory Committee--The Postal Service is making a concerted effort to listen to and address the concerns and issues of our valued customers in the Mailing Industry. We recently published in the Federal Register a proposed rule titled "Changes to Move Update Standards." We have heard from many of you that it would be helpful to have additional time to provide comments on the proposed rule. Many of you also expressed an interest in discussing the proposed rule at the MTAC meeting (August 16-18). In response to your requests, we will now consider written comments submitted by August 31, 2011. If you need more time, please let us know. Any comments received by August 15th will be addressed in a special session during the upcoming MTAC meeting. Your comments and feedback are of great importance to us.
