Pitney Bowes Chairman Michael J. Critelli was recently honored with the distinguished Global Achievement Award from the Global Envelope Alliance (GEA). The award was given during the GEA conference held this week in Berlin. "It is truly an honor to give this award to Mike Critelli for all that he has done on behalf of the mailing industry and envelope manufacturers around the world. It is our highest honor presented to a man who has honored us so much," stated GEA Chairman Bert Berkley. Pitney Bowes is a global leader in mail and document management markets. Mr. Critelli has been instrumental in leading the mailing industry's efforts in postal reform and served as co-chair of the Mailing Industry Task Force.

This award is given to someone who is an industry and market leader and to someone who has made an impact on paper-based communications around the world. This is only the third time this award has been given. In 2005 the award was given to Bert Berkley, chairman of the board of Tension Envelope Corp. in the United States and Fernando Rico, CEO of Grupo Tompla, one of the largest envelope manufacturing companies in Europe. The Global Envelope Alliance is a special interest group of the Envelope Manufacturers Association. Its mission is to promote the value and volume of mail worldwide. It currently has 80 member companies from around the world.
